M-sync.

Older cameras which support flash bulbs frequently have PC connectors marked with the letter M. Such connectors support medium-speed electric flash bulbs - they’re timed to open the shutter at the point at which the light output from the bulb is greatest, since flash bulbs take some time to generate light. Slow and fast flash bulbs were also seen, though less commonly so.
