It might interest some to see the 300EZ Canon manual at : http://www.cameramanuals.org/flashes_meters/speedlite_300ez.pdf which shows this flash mounted on an EOS camera. Thus, it should be compatible with EOS units.

Well, since it's an EZ flash unit it's TTL only and therefore is compatible with all EOS film cameras. It's not compatible with EOS digital cameras.

Point taken. Lens interchangeability but not flash.
