I am shortly to begin a project. As a subsitute for a Human model moving, I tested with a fan on a stand to test motion capture. I have the flash set 2 meters from the subject and the (Digital) camera is approx 8-10 meters from the subject. on 100asa and 1/100th sec as expected the fan blades motion is frozen by the flash, but if I set the camera to 1/200th of a sec the fan blades are quite blury because of the motion. Not a problem, I was just curious why this should happen.

Never mind about this, I have since taken sharp fan shots at 1/200th. but cant seem to replecate the blury fan blades. (not that it mattered any way)
