Hi all,
Has anyone used any of the Mr Studio One light kits on sale on ebay? They look promising, but I've never heard of them . Are they any good? |

I haven't bought anything from that particular seller, but I have bought very similar looking products from other eBay importers.
Basically you get what you pay for. The stuff is okay as far as it goes, but it isn't brilliantly made. Basic items like lighting stands are fine for amateur work. The flash units likewise, but even a beginner will notice the variations in colour temperature and lighting output, for example.
But if you're a novice on a budget who shoots only occasionally, or need something almost disposable for a shoot, then it's worth considering. It's just not the sort of gear you buy with long-term professional use in mind. |
