| I have a EF70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM and have just begun to use it for high school football games. I was using the standard lens that zoomed in farther but was not good with the lighting. I was told that I can get an extension for this lens so that I can get closer to the boys. I am hoping someone can give me some advise on this. |

| There are teleconverter or extender accessories that work with this lens, but you lose a stop and a half or two of light coming into the lens if you use one. So you gain range but lose the ability to shoot at f/2.8. |
