I have a Cobra 700AF flashgun that worked beautifully with my previous camera a Canon EOS500. I have tried the flashgun with my new camera EOS 350D and find that although hte flash is produced, it does not synchronise with the camera. It seems that the flash operates too early.
Can anyone please help? |

| That unit's pretty old, and I don't think it's going to work very well with a digital EOS camera except as an all-manual unit. Does your flash unit have four data pins in addition to the central pin? Try taping the small pins and then putting the flash unit into automatic mode if you really want to use it with this camera. |

Hello nkg,
thanks for the information. It seems that the Cobra 700AF unit I have is set for automatic and does not give a choice.
If all fails, can you recommend an equivalent flash gun for use wwith the EOS 350D? |
