I have the above flash and I'm tring to use it, off camera, by means of an hot shoe. Unfortunately it doesen't work. I have also a Canon speedlite 155A that works perfeclty with the same hot shoe.
Somebody in this formum can help me to solve this problem?
Many thanks in advance.

| Do you mean you have an off camera cord? |

| No I do not use a cord, I make use of a device you connet to the bottom of the flash and is activated by the light of another flash, I'm not sure but I guess is named servocell. |

Do you mean the Metz 44 AF-4C? Because this unit is designed to work with Canon E-TTL cameras directly.
For whatever reason it's apparently designed not to fire when used with a sync-only trigger, such as an optical slave trigger. |

| Well, that's a bit awkward. But it is a workaround! |
